It is like I put myself under constant pressure to meet someone and settle down.

I always try to be myself when i meet new people and do not have much trouble maintaining a conversation.

After WW-II it appears that for some years Savage did not put serial numbers on their Fox Model B.

Some clues would be the address on the barrels, Utica, NY, up thru 1945/6.

Then Savage consolidated their arms making operations at the old J.

Stevens factories at Chicopee Falls, Mass., and the factory at Utica went to making washing machines for the post-War housing boom.

I met both my wives (divorced once not a polygamist) online and that was primarily how I met people because I didn't really have a group of guys that I hung out with to go to parties/clubs looking for women. If you want to PM I am happy to share some experiences and thoughts/tips that might be helpful. They aren't romantic typically, though some can be a little.....those are the ones that have probably been outside the country or exposed to other nationalities though. You will also hear them say pretty blunt things to your face. If you think you have not made a 'stellar' match then you are most likely dating a typical dutchie. And they are stubborn so it is hard to work out a relationship issue if it involves any type of confrontation or compromise. This topic completely escaped my attention; I think we should have locked it a long time ago. There is no chivalry towards a woman, in other words. This little subforum was intended for people who are actively studying Dutch on this forum and who would like to discuss their own experiences/frustrations/expectations regarding Dutch or Flemish culture (without having to practice their Dutch while doing so). From zure haring en broodje kroket to frieten en pralines. Hi Muriel, Answering questions about the Dutch language is probably more my cup of tea but since no one replied yet, I decided to give it a try. From fietsen and Koninginnedag to schaatsen and de Gentse Feesten. I was curious what the most common dating ettiquette is in Holland... I looked up "Dutch dating etiquette" on Google and I only found websites explaining what 'going Dutch' on a date is.

What i see is that a lot of people who are involved in online dating disgard this notion and figure that the attraction will build, but unless both parties involved are realllly focus orientated (want kids, want rich guy etc.) it's no guarantee for succes.
